This course is a continuation of Basic Obedience and will focus on teaching your dog to respond to previously taught basic commands off leash and under a high level of distraction. The program is customized to meet your goals for training and to suit the specific needs of your dog. In Advanced Obedience we will go to the parks and shopping centers located near your home to ensure that your dog will pay attention when distracted. We will teach long stays while the handler is out of sight and come from long distances as well as heeling off the leash. Also included in the course are the commands speak, quiet, leave it and drop it. Advanced Obedience is designed to enable you to have control of your dog with verbal commands and hand signals no matter where you and your pet go. We strongly recommend this course to those of you who take your dog out in public.
